About

Intention

The combination of abstraction and realism of the sea and its wide horizons, should not only be aesthetically pleasing, but also be a source of relaxation, breathing deeply and connecting with the deeper beauty of our world.

Painting "Foggy Notion"

Inspiration and creative process

In my creative process, I often start with an clear idea of composition, depth and the desired effect of the picture.

Landscape formations, such as reefs and seascapes, serve as sources of inspiration. At the same time, an intuitive approach emerges during the process.

I am particularly happy to be guided by spontaneous impulses that arise during the painting process.

My art is significantly influenced by my deep connection to nature and my travels.

Background

After an inspiring trip to New Zealand in 2019, I began painting again and painted my
favourite beach during the gloomy Berlin winter.

The enduring fascination for water and its changeability are not only my driving creative force, but also
the emotional connection that characterises my paintings.

Since then, I have continued to drift on my artistic journey.
